Be warned though, poly squeaks. Look for a kit with polygraphite or midolyne bushings. These are 'squeak free' poly bushings. You still can't use them on strut rods though.
When you say get polygraphite, which bushings are you talking about? I have seen these, and was going to get them, but surely you don't need Polygraphite for ALL the suspension bushings, right?

Well, you don't need them for ANY bushings, but if you're looking to firm up the ride, they're a good upgrade. Most kits will use the same material across the board, be it poly, polygraphite, midolyne, or rubber. If you're not going to use rubber bushings, the trickis to findakitthat doesn't use poly anywhere (except sway bar bushings), and midolyne or polygraphite everywhere except the strut rods, and possibly the coil spring insulators and saddles.

Where do I find grab-a-track kits? I can find references to them on google, but I can't seem to find a website? Man, stuff at opentrackracingproducts is high end, and I have to email them for a quote on a complete kit? sounds expensive, heh. Anyway, how far would a budget of 600 or 800 dollars get me suspension wise? Or is that sort of budget just stupid and unreasonable? I was liking the price tag at the mustangsunlimited kit, but I plan to drive this car for a long time and I'm sick of cars that handle like turds.

Mustangs plus has the Grab a trak kit. I got a complete front and rear suspension rebuild kit for 900 plus 95 for shipping. So 600 to 800 is not unreasonable at all, just depends on how much you want to rebuild.

Alright so now I'm leaning toward the grab-a-track kits.
I probably should have said earlier that I'm not looking to make a track car and that I'm going to be driving this car on a fairly regular basis, so I don't want to do anything extreme.
Anyway, I'm looking at a 1 inch front sway bar kit, a 3/4 inch rear sway bar kit, and a front end suspension rebuild kit. However, it's my understanding that the poly strut rod bushings will shear the original strut rods, so should I buy more grab-a-track strut rods http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchant...ory_Code=strut or should I buy rubber bushings for the strut rods and throw out the poly ones that come with the kit?

Rear Sway: http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchant...=Sway_Bar_Kits

I've also noticed that people are saying they love their grab-a-track kits, and other people are saying poly bushings make so much noise they are seriously bothered. I'm not seeing any rebuild kits of midolyne or graphite, so am I blind and they're right in front of me or do grab-a-track kits only come in poly?
How bad do poly bushings squeak anyway? My dad says he has used them on the volkswagens and I've never noticed anything, buti it's hard to notice small squeaks and rattles in a car that is already noisy. My dad also said they noise could be managed by spraying them with silicone lubricant on a semi-regular basis.

If you go with a 3/4" rear sway bar, use something bigger on the front, like 1-1/8".

Grab-A-Trak is sold specifically by M+, as far as I know. Personally, I'd look elsewhere for a suspension kit purely because they do NOT sell them without poly bushings. Laurel Mountain Mustang, Glazier's, NPD,Mustangs Unlimited, etc all have good suspension kits, and most places offer polygraphite or midolyne now.

If you do end up going with the Grab-A-Trak kit, chuck the poly strut rod bushings and buy some rubber ones.

Do polyeurathane bushings really squeak hella bad or will I not notice/be able to hear them over the engine and regular road noise and my stereo?
