Where to get????
Do I need to go to one of the Mustang specialty retailers for parts like:
Ignition switch
Headlight switch
Wiper switch (actually I can't find this at Auto Zone, Advanced Auto or O'Reilly)
or can I just get them at the local parts house? Is the quality the same?
I'm not looking for concourse or anything, just functional and reliable.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Napa and Carquest have a much better parts selection than AutoZone or *gag* Kragen. And I know that Napa does sell HL and ignition switches, because I work there
However, I think the wiper switch may have to come from a Mustang specialty werehouse.

Thanks, but there are no Napa or Carquest stores anywhere near where I live. The quality of the switches is the question, are they as good as the ones you get from the Mustang specialty retailers?
You may stand a better chance of getting a US made replacement switch at NAPA, than even a quality supplier like NPD. NPD's stock is higher turnover, almost for sure offshore (cheaper) made.
Check with Mustang Depot or John's Mustang in your area and see what kind of prices they have. You may be surprised.
I drove 3 hours down to John's to buy a rebuilt steering box, was there 15 minutes, and drove 3 hours back.

FWIW, the headlight switch from NPD is a Ford branded part. You could probably order one from your local dealer if you don't mind playing the B.S. pricing games with them (i.e. they quote you full MSRP until you complain and they knock it down).
