Default chrome touch up

Hey guys!

posting here after a long time..

a while ago some idiot decided to drive infront of my car while i was turning into a corner..his bike grazed my front bumper..thankfully he wasnt hurt and judging by the fact that i got out and yelled at him..the kid bolted..i heaved a sigh of relief but i was soon upset again after noticing small gash/ scratch on my bumper...its about 2-3 inches long and about 2mm wide...cant really see it..to save from rust i touched it with some silver paint and u really cant make out..i have a car show coming up and i want to get on top of this

Is there any recommendations other than having the bumper rechromed? some good chrome paint? or anything thatll save me from going thru the ordeal of taking it off and stuff because its really so small but it is playing on my mind..

thanks

If it's nagging at you that much, you might as well go ahead and get it rechromed. You could wait, but then you would have had it bothering you for all this time for nothing.

You could just buy a cheap repop too.

rattle-can chrome is actually pretty impressive quality... maybe consider a light coat of that blended into the bumper.... a good temp fix until u rechrome/replace

I have never found a can of chrome paint that looks worth a crap. Definately wouldn't go that route.

hmm..fair enough...I did some research into the Alsa Corp Mirrachrome..its a bit dear at $75 for the smallest can but i think it would be a worth while investment for those small scratches and stuff...

http://alsacorp.com/products/mirrach..._showcase2.htm

I like the picture of the fastback on page 4!! the link shows a lamborghini painted using their mirrachrome, and it looks pretty impressive..

id ignore it or rechrome the bumper you could try polishing it if the scratchs aint too deep.
