Hey you guys... right now i just took off my dash pad from my 69 mach 1.... that went well... didnt take me long because i was looking at the steps in a mustangs book... but im having troable taking off the gauge custer on the driver side.... i took all the screws off but it looks like the speed cable is hooked on it and i cant figure out how that come out.... has anyone does this before... im taking off the custer because my lights dont light up at night and i checked the fues already and they were good... any help will help... thanks again

are you talking about the speedometer cable? if so, that will just unscrew where it meets the rear of the gauge cluster... There is a little piece of metal that screws on to hold the cable to the cluster. maybe that helps?
