Default Cars got the hickups

Just bought a 66 mustang with a 200inline 6 from my mom. My step dad said he puta new holley Carb on it (attached pic), alternator, starter relay, andplug wires. I recently replaced thevoltage regulator due to head lights pulsing with amp gauge. When I floor it from a stop it studders for a sec.before taking off (like its getting to much fuel) plus when im accelerating at normal rates it hickups hear and there. Like asplit second power loss.whenI give itmore throttle it seems to go away for the most part.I work seconds and it seems to be worse when I get off at 11pm and its colder outside. I just put new plugs, disty cap, and fuel filter on, but havent seen a change. Im not to familiar with a carbed car.Im turning her into a daily driver. I need somehelp

Sounds too lean, maybe a vacuum leak at the carb gasket, or the carb is out of tune

the holley carb doesnt look so new but maybe its just a bad picture. i said had the same problem with my car before. First my timing was off. Then my accelerater pump went on my carburetor. So if you know someone who can check both of those...have them do it.
