65 coupe i just replaced brakets and spring for parking brakes i just need to know what i the right tension and how far does the parking brake pull out ...

It should pull out about 2/3s of the length of the rod. Pull out till it stops...sitting normally in the seat. Brakes should hold it from rolling.
