In the process of tearing the mustang down I found the build sheet but its some what confusing decoding it. The paint code is either 2 or A I know 2 doesn't decode and A is black But as you can see in the pic I found dark blue under the under coating and on hint of black anywhere. Also the interior decodes as blue which makes since with the blue I found inside the car around the back window. Has anyone ever heard of a blck mustang with dark blue interior on a I6 car?

I have several build sheets and can't match the codes up with whats in the books. I would do a "Marti Report" and get the buildinfo. From the photo, your original color looks Blue.

 

Cant do a mart report on a 66. It starts at either 67 or 68
