Default It lives......kinda

Well, after about a month of replacing the whole front and rear suspension, today the car finally got all 4 tires back on and is sitting on the ground instead of on stands. It wasn't all great though. As we were bleeding the brakes, the rear brake line broke and blew brake fluid everywhere. Another trip to Autozone for new line, fixed it. Started bleeding the front brakes, looked back, and the tranny was pouring fluid out from the pan, about a drop every two seconds. I havent touched the tranny, so I dont know why it started leaking that bad out of the blue.

Anyway, tuesday I am hoping to be able to trailer it to the ford dealer for alignment and the check a few other little things. Bitter sweet day, but more sweet than bitter

That sucks! Do you think that the trany might be leaking as a result of being on jack stands? (tilted to the back). Somtimes tranny fluid can leak out of the rear of a tranny because it has acumulated in the tail shaft area then to come out of the "flooded" rear seal.

No, we wiped the tranny down to trace it, and it is coming out of the drivers side rear corner of the pan. I had it rebuilt a few months ago, so it is still under warrenty, so I am not to worried about it. It is just aggravating.

The dealer here said it is $65, which actually is the cheapest I have found so far.
