I recently pulled the engine on the 1969 Mach1, looks like it had a thermal break down......what do you guys think? Here are some pictures...

yours was worse than mine? wow, my engine out of my 71 was really clean.

Looks like someone forgot to change the oil, about 20 years ago![8D]

guys gotta remember people back then didnt change the oil every 3k miles and the quality of the oil and filters left something to be desired.

thats just how old motors looked [8D]
