Driveshaft

Driveshaft
I just converted to an 8" rear from the stock 6cyl one.
My main question has to do with the front yoke that slides into the end of the 3 speed toploader I have in it. It is the 3.03 type but it has a 25 spline output shaft. Is there more modern cars that would have the 25 splines with the type of u-joint used on the 8" rear?
I want to go to some junkyards to find one the right length, but don't want to pull every driveshaft in the cars to count the splines on the yoke.

RE: Driveshaft
You could have a new end welded on the shaft you have to hook to your new rear end. It will cost you about $100.00 at a driveshaft shop, but it will work for you.
We did this on the the 66 for a period of time after we installed the 9", but before we swapped the I-6 / 3 speed out.

RE: Driveshaft
Yeah I was hoping to an easy cheap junkyard find since I a T5 ready to go. I need to get the adapter plate and crossmember to do that swap and didn't want to go to the driveshaft place twice.
Thanks
Thanks
