There are a dozen or so different options...from new aftermarket kits from people like SSBC and Baer, all the way down to pulling junkyard units off compatible Fords and transplanting.

to do what you want you need new spindles hubs brakes springs and shocks front and back a new rear end 8 inch atleast. get your rear end from http://www.perogie.com/Rears.htm on brakes if get http://www.mustangsteve.com/cobrabrakes.html the cobra brakes are pbr same thing baer really is.since your replacing the spindles the 71-73 mustang ones are thicker stronger and fit fine.
