Default Flowtech headers

Are flowtech headers any good. There is a set advertised here locally for $65. They are new long tube with collectors.

I had a set of FlowTechs on the fastback before I went with the rack and pinion setup. They had nice thick flanges and held up really well. I had them on my car for about 7-8 years before I swapped them out.

From what I remember, Flowtech was started by some engineers who left Flowmaster and struck out on their own. Not 100% sure about that, I just seem to remember reading that somewhere.

I had a set of flow-tech headers on my '92 f150 for almost 8 years. I never had any problems with them.I had mine aluminized at the local welder shop. I remember the flanges being nice and fat.

i bought some from autozone back in 98 for my old truck with a 390, they outlasted the engine! they burned off the coating fast and i had troubles with collector gaskets but i would buy another set for the right money!
