remember the 68 coupe for $7800i was looking at last week? well, i just bought it for 5800. here's the specs. c code 289 auto white with black interior. all original except for an ac delco battery (but that will change soon), no rust except for one half dollar size on the door. straight body, original paint, clean fraimrails and floorpans, clean engine compartment and truck. power steering, three point seatbelts, everything works! drives like a dream. so I am giong to reupulster the fron seats this saturday, and wash and wax it. also I am planning an engine rebuild and disc brakes in the near future. keeping it a mostly original daily driver. what do you think, any advise, things I should do to protect if from rust? it has to be outside for a while, how are car covers? which ones are best (breath but are weather proof)? its a beautiful car, i will post some more pics later. very excieted.
