Default Need some education...

Need some learning materials! I am currently working on the body and I want to increase my knowledge on engines, suspension, steering... Basically, I understand what an engine does but sometimes i see a bunch of talk about ratios and what not. I want to get detailed understanding? any advice? Any books or sites?

Hang out here! That and go put parts on your car; hands on experience is the best! When I first got my Stang four years ago, I barely knew how to change oil. 3 engines, 2 trannys, 2 rear ends later I've really learned alot. These old cars are really simple, they're not like the newfangled ones that have computers and wiring and plastic everywhere. Hands on experience is the best, greasy and bleeding hands in the shop will teach you more than book can.

Yeah, taking the whole thing apart already showed me a lot. I guess i just want to be prepared when I start rebuilding all the other stuff...
Thanks!

The best way is just to go work on something till you get stuck. Then its time to post a question cuz chances have it that someone else has been stuck at the same place. Here's another site thats helped me out before...
