Default frustration

I spent most of the day today trying to find the bolts that hold the export brace in place so that I could weld my torque boxes in place. It seems that I am spending more time looking through boxes of car parts so I can mock stuff up to get ready to under coat and paint than I am actually working on my car. I spent the time to mark everything that came off my car for future reassembly but I have so many boxes of parts and what I am looking for always seems to be in the bottom of the last box I look in. My next project I am going to mark the boxs with a packing list so I can find stuff easier.

I didn't take many pics. I did zip lock everything and zip tied the bags to the corisponding part to keep the bolts with the part. I tried to keep interior in one box and engine compartment in another but there are so many parts and not enough room that I got run over into different boxes. Oh well . Live and learn.

That sucks. When I was redoing my suspension, I had parts, fasteners, tools everywhere in my garage. Looked like a bomb went off, but I knew where everything was. A buddy came over and "helped" me out by straightening the area up for me. Took me an extra 10 minutes everytime I tried to find a part I needed[:@]

I bought one of those big orginizers wth the deep plastic drawers and hung on the wall. I marked the drawers by section of the car. When I did the resto on my truck I did the same. You spend days at the grinder with the wire brush wheel cleaning and making your fingers raw. Ain't it fun.
