Default Stalling 302

Iown a 70 Fastback and I'm having a problem with it stalling at idle when she’s hot. She'll run nice all day driving around town, (Moncton, NewBrunswick, Canada) but when I come offthe highway and she’saround 200º, as Iapply the brakesto stop she'll stall. I've tried playing with the carb, (presently a 2300 Fordcarb) but nothing changes. I've done a little work tothe engine, mild cam, Pertronix distributor & coil, headers, .030 over. I though that she was running hot at 200º/210º but from what I read on other threads, this isa good operating temp for this engine, by the way it's a 302 with a 4 speed top loader.
Any suggestions on why it's stalling? What should I be looking for?
Thanks.

That's happened to my 289 a few times...stop at a light..all warmed up at about 200, and she'll just die

similar mods..mild cam, headers, .030 over, and a few other minors
i'm pretty sure my problem was my battery was being drained so my sparks were poo and she'd choke after so long

I had a similar problem with my grand prix and it drove me insane [&:]. With the engine idling, start pulling plugs until you find the "fouled" plug and change it. Thankfully, that was my culprit.

Good Luck!
