Not that I am aware. In 65/66 you can use a tool from a parts supplier or a generic paint tool with a point on the end. Work it between the gasket and the trim. Slide it down until it catches ona clip. pull the tool towards the center of the window while pulling the trim up. The hardest part is getting started, but no need to ruin the gasket.

The ruber lining ? I use a guitar string to remove it. Takes 5 minutes and comes off like butter !

I believe he was talking about the chrome trim pieces. I bought the trim tool and ended up using the all purpose paint tool from HarborFreight (99 cents). The one with the point on one side. The key is to pull the clips away from the chrome trim and pull the trim up off the clip.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding.

IMO- I'd replace ALL the chrome on the car if I were to get a paint job. What color you painting your '66?

I'm painting it poppy red... same color it is now. I'm taking a painting class at the local college and my car is my project for the class. They have two really nice paint boths and a full nason paint setup. All top notch equipment! It's been a great class so far! luckily there is a harbor freight right near my work so i'll be stopping there after work! thanks guys!
