Battery
yeah it does in a ways cuz some have different volts like ur friends think about it a honda right?? well the honda doesnt use that much power so it could be a low volt, as for your car if its a v-8 u would prolly need a big battery with a good amount of volts. i'd recommend optima batteries theyre pretty good. you could use ur friends battery but it would prolly drain it in a matter of time ur v-8 need tons amount of energy for it to run..
I am probably going to get an optima. I just wanted to hool the other battery up to see if runs alright since i just put the carb. back on cuz i was rebuilding it. So it would be ok for a little bit until i get my nice battery?

Yeah, the amps are different, should still be 12 volts. It may work, may not. If it does, it may not work all the time. If you hook it up in a heated garage and it barely turns over, I wouldnt bring it anywhere on a cold day. As far as just to start it to see if it runs, I say go ahead and try.
