Can anyone help me with the location of the engine number on my 351 cleveland? I've had a look for it, but cant see it. Still waiting for the workshop manual to turn up..

they arent that hard to find look at the bottom of the engine by the oil pan and motor mounts and you should see the numbers herre is a pic of mine so you get the idea

Does that mean the starter is in the way?

The sequencial number should be stamped in the back of the block, if you are looking for a matching number to the VIN.
