Default Shock towers - How Hard?

Looks like I'll need to replace shock towers and probably front frame rail on 1970 mach mustang. PO redid body, trunkand painted - I was too much of newb to double check towers. Vertical cracks and rusted out by frame rail.

Was to concerned about floors, cowl and trunk - missed towers altogether. In any case how difficult to do and does anyone have a step by step w/u. I was planning on selling car but would feel guilty selling w/o disclosing or fixing - too honest for my own good.

thanks

My shock towers are very hard thank you.

Just use these words "AS-IS" as many time as you can on the Bill of Sale.

well, you have 2 options

patch and repair what is there, or go with a new frame rail shock tower assembly

either way you have your work cut out for you, but some pics of the damage would help, maybe its not as bad as you think

ThanksUSM - unfortunatelyin NW or I would definitely take you up on it. Attached are some pics - When getting on it and I can hear a popping noise - thought it was motor mounts but the more I look at the cracks - I'm sure it's related.

Also the frame rail directly underneath the tower is completely open (rusted through), My guess is the PO was not too mechanical and was concerend about pulling engine - since he put new uppers and lowers on car and must have seen the rust. He repaced the floors, rear rails, and trunk

Not sure if you can tell by pics - but would be interested in opinions. thanks
