take a cloth and put it on the cowel/under the wiper arm base and then use a screwdriver to pry off the arms. Use the cloth to make sure you don't dent your metal or at the minimum chip the paint. But be careful once it comes off it has a tendency to LAUNCH off, so be sure to grab the wiper arm while prying it off so it doesn't fly and hit like the hood or fender of you car.
