Default Going 302 or 351w?

Purchased a 69 Mustang Coupe with a 250 inline 6 and will definately want to do a rebuild on a 302 or 351w but am not sure which one to go with. Obviously, the 351w will produce more power, but my question is, will there be any modifications needed to the engine bay/suspension for a 351w? Am I outdoing myself with wanting to go with a 351w? I'm not looking to race the car (althoough it'd be fun), but am looking for a great muscle car sound with the power to match.

Thanks in advance!

351 was an optional engine in 1969 so putting it in your car would be no more hassal then the 302

I will post pictures when the car arrives. Just purchased it on Sunday and am setting up transport shipping tomorrow for it. Do you have any other pictures other than the one in your avatar of your mustang?

I must say, that car looks AND sounds fantastic. Great job on it. So, did you rebuild the 390 yourself, or have it done?
