Got to agree with Hawkins 812. Know what to look for. Check the frame rails, front and back. Look over the trunk floor and drop offs, torque boxes floor pans (From the under side as well). If you don't know what these things are... Find Out! Even a $30K car could be a rip off unless you have looked it over well. There are a lot of real nice "20 footers" out there. (Cars that look good from 20' but are true junk).

I got my '69 convertible for next to nothing, but there is a reason. It is a rust bucket all the way, I knew it when I bought it and planned to do the entire frame on the car in restomoding it. But a quick look a these pics, 20' and then close can tell you what I mean.
