Default Optima Battery Tray

Can anyone suggest where I can purchase the battery tray in the picture below? It looks like it would fit in the stock location for my 66 Fastback.

Thanks,
Rus

Yikes, looks like I would have to make a bracket underneth for it to mount in the stock location for a 66 Stang. Can someone show pictures of there modification?

well its a battery tray... should be the same size or about the same size. I don't see why it wouldn't fit.

4reboy the battery tray for a 65-66 looks like the first pix below, however the Billet Specialist tray does not show any brackets to mount underneth that is why I am asking someone to confirm for those using an Optima Battery.

and the second picture is the billet specialist tray

JamesW- Will that battery tray fit in the stock location without any modification for a 65-66 Mustang? It would be better if some of the manufactures of these battery trays show the bottom, however I am affraid
most of these battery trays or for those mount there battery in the trunk.

I would like to keep my battery up front in the stock location.

EGaillard, I'm guessing the Billet battery tray will mount in the same spot as the flat part of the stock one, just without the supporton the bottom. It looks like the billit one is strong enough that it doesn't need a support, but I can't be for sure.

you might be able to mount the billet one on top of the stock one. you might have to modify the stock one so the billet one sits flat though
