headers?

Default headers?

are the patriot performance Tri Y headers for the 289 worth it or should i get a different brand? and are there anythings i have to worry about with em?

I have been very happy with them, although you will have to unbolt them to remove your tranny if ever needed. This might be the case for most like them though.

I just went with some short tube headers, the long tubes would not fit with my stock steering steering box in my 65 but i have heard good things about the Tri Y headers

yeah tri y s are great street headers, i wouldnt go with anything else unless it was a track only car, just my opinion.

I had some clearance issues at the bellhousing (Right at the starter) with my patriot tri-y's, but that is with a T5... I pryed them away and received 0.0001 mm of clearance.
