Default 1967

I want to get this Mustang for my 17 birthday for my first car, but its tough and rusty and doesn't exacly run. It won't take to much to get her running. He is asking for 1500 to 2000$ should I get it. Puls it has a 289, need to rebuild the 4 barrel carburetor.

We definitely need pics. Also try to get the vin and door tag info and decode it so you can see what you are really working with.

You want to really check out the rust underneath, floor pans, inner rockers, etc.

check rust in these spots
trunk

floor pans
battery tray

those are the most common spots and most easily rusted
