Default Pull-A-Part?

Anyone ever heard of these? or been to one?

It's like a used car lot..where you go and just pull parts off the cars that you need.

I was wondering if they were any good?

I pretty sure its just a wrecking yard where you bring your tools and remove the parts you need yourself

The ones in Atlanta..near where I live..say they have a bunch of Fords...

Sound like a good opportunity for some GT40 heads?

I've been the last two weeks gathering up some odds and ends for an EFI swap.

http://www.pickapart.com/

It can sometimes be hit or miss as to what you can find and prices are sometimes higher than what you'll pay off of Ebay or Craigslist. What is really nice is that you can get all the little fasterners, wires, fittings, etc. and see exactly how they are assembled on the vehicle you remove them from.

My advice to anybody going to one of these places, especially a large one like you'll see here in L.A., is to bring your tools in a rolling cart or wagon. Trut me, it gets awfully heavy carrying them through row after row of cars. Also, bring plenty of towels and a good set of large, heavy duty shears, clippers, etc.
