Default No Fuel Pump

I'm getting used to working on the Mach1 and noticing a few things about it (when it's not trying to kill me). Theres a blanking plate where the fuel pump should be (I think). There's what could be an electronic pump mounted on the inner fender with AC written on the front of it. Anyone any ideas about this? The car was fitted with a Holley 4 barrel and someone had put 2V heads on instead of the 4V's it came out of the factory with. Had an Edelbrock RPM intake on it too. The car is listed in cars in barns with a pic and has been standing for 10 years and the previous owner did no mods to it so it must have been toyed with pretty early in its life.

that doesnt make sense at all why would you change back to smaller heads.I think its a misunderstanding. You dont have to have 4v heads to have a 4bbl carb on in.something is wrong.

Nope. they have 2 on them. I've ordered a set of 4V's to bring it back in line. I have no idea what the guy wanted to do

EDIT: the car is a M code so had 4V's from the factory.

if you have an electric fuel pump then theres no need for the mechanical fuel pump hole, you can get a cover for it.

It should already be covered or it would be spewing oil all over.
