Big, Big job, or so I've heard. I believe it involves stripping the front portion of your interior, pulling the windsheild out and welding the thing up.

A temporary fix would be a cowl cover. It costs about $20-$30 (Hard to remember). Its a thin piece of plastic that locks down on the grate of the existing cowl. Its a great investment whether you are protecting her carpet or protecteing a good cowl.

You can weld up the cowl vent if you use a aftermarket heat/ac uinit.

Check out Mustang Monthly's tech articles. These two are on windows.

www.mustangmonthly.com/techarticles/mump_0708_ford_mustang_windshield_glass_replacemen t/index.html

www.mustangmonthly.com/techarticles/mump_0403_classic_mustang_glass_replacement/index.html

Also saw a cowl repair article recently (last 12 months) You're not gonna like it. But if your baby has been leaking for a while you are gonna have major rust issues that mustbe dealt with. The cowl cover will only hide the real issue.

Yet another link to pictures of cowl repair.

Cowl leaks are probably the number 1 killer of Mustangs. Especially 65-68's. If you car leaks when it rains it's a problem that can't be ignored.
Oh, and here's a link to another possible option to removing the cowl.
But the only way to do a permanent repair is to remove the cowl.
