Why don't you like the blocks? I've had the springs on the car a while, I don't know if anyone would want to swap used springs.

well, under very heavy loads(acceleration) they are not the best thing to have. You hear a lot about them in the 4X4 scene where lifting blocks are frowned upon. I guess its not as solid as if the diff was mounted directly to the springs. I dunno that a 2"-3" block would have such a bad impact but personally I would prefer the springs.

Your car is looking sharp! I like the shelby tail light panel and the decklid tail. I thinkI would drop the assend 2 or 3 inches or so. Enough to lower it noticibly but high enough so it still has a little bit of a rake to it. Anyways, car is looking great.

How much would a reverse eye spring lower the rear? I prefer a stiff spring as I do haul my 3 boys in the back seat...

Well, you could go with a 5 or 5 1/2 leaf spring with a reverse eye from Mustangs Plus it'll run you about $240

Wow, your car looks really good. I'd lower the back so it aprears to be leaning forward just slightly. It looks good at shows, plus while driving it will even out and look 100% level.... Which is badass

if you lower the rear you have to lower the front more too, but it think it looks good in my opinion.

Tara, I put mideye 5-leafs on my 67 and was alittle shocked at how much it lowered it. I expected a noticable difference, but not that much. And, since they say replacing your saggy springs with standard will actually lift the car, i figured a mideye would leave it about the same level. I can only imagine reverse-eye, it would probably be laying on the tire...

I have 225/70/15's on the rear now but my rear end is also about 200 pounds lighter than it should be, so it'll be even lower soon. I'll try to get you a picture. They stick out alittle too far becuase of incorrect spacing, but I think it looks beastly.

Thanks, it's been a long project. I have been working on it 17 years. It has changed a lot but it's the closest it's ever been to looking like something other than a pile of parts in the garage.
