hey guys. im redoing my dash soon. the lights suck. i found a kit on ebay that replaces all the guages to led. but where do i get the turn signal lights and such. also i need to figure out why my spedometer isnt working. i have a fealing its because there isnt a cable hooked up the the transmission. when i dotho i can justtake it out and rewind it back to 00000 correct? i saw another post about this.

I just ordered some instrument light bulbs from NPD pg 131 of their 07 catalog has a pretty good listing of all bulbs. Turn signals indicators 65-71 = U-L1895 0.50 each. Could prob find elsewhere but I was already ordering other stuff. A new light switch/rheostat helped some but yeah, the stock stuff is dim on my 69. I have a least one bulb out for sure.

That post said wind it foward to 00000 to prevent damage to gears. The shaft/ connection to the back of my instrument cluster was pretty loose,it slid off easily so ck that also.

 

can i check it without taking out the dash? can i feal it?
