Default RE: Need help 68 Frame rail question

Hard to tell without any pics. Most rusted mustangs have floor and frame rail problems but are fixable. The frame rails are the tricky part, keeping everything aligned when cutting out the old and welding in the new. Once that is done, the floor pans should be a breeze. I built a jig that I put under the car aligning the frame to the jig. After cutting out the frame rails I aligned the new frame rails to the jig, and taking many measurements, I was able to make sure everything was aligned properly. I only did one side at a time. You may want to get a trailer to get her home.
