ya these are all pretty intense but heres my plan. I want to find a 1967-1969 fastback shell sell/trade my 66 coupe and do all modern suspension and brakes with updated drive train, nothing to crazy, and basicly build a modern version of a trans am racer complete with minilites. Im looking at a 67 coupe that was transformed into a fastback, im a little iffy on it, but if it is a solid car its exactly what im looking for (no reason to keep anything stock). What you guys think? im thinking on setting a budget of 35000 not including bodywork and interior (as much of the work done by me).

lol well i figure the suspension, brakes and r&p im looking at is like 8500 before tax and shipping alone, i already have the engine, gotta figure out what to do about putting in a 5 speed and the rearend thats another 5-6g without tax and shipping if i buy all new parts ( trying to avoid that) gotta find the car lol ( hardest part). i got some breathing room in the budget because i know somethings gunna go wrong and all the odds and ends add up also.

Take a look at Baer Brakes Track or Track Plus kits for your brakes.

I built mine for about 30K and that includes paying 10K for the final bodywork and paint...did the rest myself (with a little help from friends and family), go for it!!!
