Default enamel or oil base?

what type of paint would you use to paint an engine compartment?

oil base or enamel, or does it really matter?

I use high temp paints usually. But, enamel would be my choice between the two you listed.

Either Dupli-Color or Rustoleum. I used Rustoleum's hammered series on my '65 F250, and Dupli-Color on my others.
