I have to un bury it from the garage. I plan on a resto mod want to modernize it a bit, not sure as to specifics yet, I want it to be able to put these ricers in there place for sure and look and sound good of course. I am not quite sure yet. I will probably pull it out of the garage next week. I do plan on keeping the 302 but waking it up with a new cam, heads and intake. the fmx has to go and a c-4 with shift kit will replace that. I would like to get a aod if that is a fairly easy swap. can you put a 8.8 read end in there from a fox body? I have not measured yet. 3.55's will be the gear of choice. definatly need some more comfortable seats and interior updates.

If its a true mach1 its a 9 inch and replacing it with a 8.8 is a bad idea. Id keep the fmx its stronger then a c4.What all are your plans onlything not made yet for the 71-73 is rack and pinon a 3 link with a watts like but both are in the works by 2 companys.
