Default interior swap

whats up guys, I remember reading a while back about someone doing an interior swap on an old mustang; something like a 67 body swapped onto a 90's+ stang interior. I cant remember what magazine it was from but it has always stayed with me as to what the car looked like...I have wanted to since then see an old mustang with the interior of a way newer one. does anyone have pics/info on this? thanks.

I remember that, it was a SN95 interior in a classic (67?).

It was ugly as hell..

well at least someone remembers it lol...lately ive been thinking it was just a dream. So it was ugly? was it poorly done or just not visually good looking? I figured it would be really cool to have a new interior in an older car. of course my opinion can change just as quick if it does indeed look ugly.

Yes its ugly you want alot of plastic in a classic car looks way out of place it dont bolt in takes alot of work and money to make fit.Baddog if your talking about the yellow fastback they took the skin of the fastback and put the subframe of the 03 cobra under it waste of mustang to me.

I personally don't think it was ugly...

I'm with you Tarafied. I've seen the yellow 65 that was married toa 03 cobra up close and personal. In my opinion it is a beautiful car. The 69 you gave pictures of looks good too. I'd personally love to have the conveniences, comfort and handling of a modern car with the looks of 60's and 70 muscle.

If yawl don't like swaping the interior, how about taking a new Mustang and making it look old? I saw this car at the same show as the 69...

I agree with Tarafield. That interior looks great. I also heard in this forum that the 03 to 69 conversion is not hard at all. If you don't like all the plastic, you could put on some of those woodgrain appliques I guess.
