Default 65 Heater Problems??

My heater doesnt seem to be working at all. I replaced the core like 4 years ago so I went and bought another one yesterday. I installed it today but then I came to realize that when you turn the heater on I used to hear a little clicking (kinda like a fan) and now I dont. I dont hear anything, so most likely its an electrical problem, but what do I check?? I already checked the fuse and it was good???? Winter is coming so I want to get this fixed ASAP.....

Thanks

Turn the switch on and under the hood, place your hand on the blower motor. It should be running. If so, your done. If not, pull the bullet connections off of the fan and check for voltage; if there, check for ground, if there; the fan's bad. If no voltage, check the resistor plug on top of the heater box; if 12 volts there; then the resitsistor is bad. If you don't have a wiring diagrem, go to the FAQ and download one.

No switch under the hood - he's talking about the switch in the passenger compartment. Turn it on, then walk around to the passenger side, and put your hand on the blower.

Are you SURE the flapper door is closing? If not - check the linkages!

Have you felt the heater hoses in the engine bay as they enter the firewall? One hot and the other warm?

Are you sure the thermostat is closing and letting the engine come to full operating temps?

This may seem like a stupid suggestion but I a making it from experience. Make sure that the wiring on the blower motor is correct. I had my 66 running backwards and didn't understand why it was not blowing very hard. I reversed the wires and problem was solved.
