Default What should I expect?

I apologize if this isn't the right place for this. I figure if anyone has had experience with a particular company, it would be the guys in this forum.

I purchased some parts to replace the damaged rear sections of my 66 from Mustang's Unlimited because they came highly recommended by the previous owner of the car and I believe I've read some good reviews on them in this forum. Part of my order came in quickly but the two large pieces did not arrive. I didn't think too much of it since they are fairly large but it's been two weeks of waiting (I'm too patient for my own good). I finally checked the status on the order. The order says shipped and delivered but UPS only tracked a single 2 pound box. The tailpanel and Monte Carlo bar definately weren't in the box I received and I bet they weigh more than 2 pounds.

I emailed their customer support since I can't call them at the moment. How worried should I be about getting the parts I paid for?

I'll call them in the morning, I'm not on call then so I won't be pulled off the phone in the middle of a conversation. The stuff I did get came from the Atlanta store. I'm in Alabama so I'm betting all of it'll ship from Atlanta. At this point I'd be happy with a 'they are on backorder' but the order record says 'Shipped'

I'm probably worried about nothing, I get a little jumpy when online orders have issues. I had really bad luck with a company I bought a laptop from once. I got a flash card instead of the laptop and then the company tried to accuse me of stealing the laptop. It took the shipping company's records of a ~1lb package to get them to back down. I never did business with that company again and it didn't stop me from buying online, the pros outnumber the cons.

Probably nothing to worry about. I have ordered parts and one order, a 9" rear housing and axle assembly from Summit, they shipped only the axles at 43 lbs. I received them, website showed the order shipped and delivered, but after calling the housing was still in their warehouse on the shelf. That was Fri--still waiting on the housing.

next i have never dealt with them, but i have read threads on this forum about how sometimes they are a little slow getting parts out

i always use NPD, but thats mostly because their warehouse is only about 45minutes away from my house

I have used them and on occasion they will ship some parts from one warehouse and some from another. As a matter of fact,my last order consisted of 2 parts and One shipped from Atlanta and the other shipped from Connecticut. I live in Illinois and the packagesarrived a few days apart.

I spoke to Ted in the sales department yesterday before work. He looked over my order and agreed that there was some sort of error made. He went to the shipping department to get my order straightened out. I should be getting the parts soon, just in time for me to order some more from them. They seem to be a stand up organization to me so they'll be getting more of my business.
