Default RE: ALTERNATOR BRACKET BOLT BROKEN!! HELP!!

This is where the bolt is, this was before painting the block, just to give an idea where it actually is..the bolt is CIRCLED IN RED! i.e it is the BOTTOM bolt when using to secure the triangular alternator bracket,

The engine is a 302 4V from a '68 FB

Also can someone please tell me what the dimensions for the bolt are, how long it is because i need to know how much actually broke off inside?

Thanks once again guys!

Dude unless im missing something do what I did on my 289 before.
Pull your water pump and you should be able to see it.
Take a Dremel or other rotary toll IF you can get to it use the little cut off wheel about the size of a quarter and cut a deep line into the bolt and used a good flat-blade screwdriver and back that sucker out. I have done that a few times did wind up putting a tiny lil grove on the head once but a file fixed that. Hope this works for you.
Ive done this with a lot of success only very few times have I used my eaze out set.

Try tapinga piece of dry ice on the bolt for a little time before turning it out. It will cause the bolt to constrict a little (shrink) and may help it come out easier
