Default '66 coupe wheel & tire upgrade ??

Have '66 stang coupe with stock 4-lug OE 14' wheels. Want to upgrade to Cragar SS-style, TT2, ET, etc., styles. Given that I will need 4-lug to 5-lug adapters, I'm looking at a set of '07 GT/Bullit wheels and tires. Wheels are 5 on 4.5' 17X8J with a 45mm offset. Tires are 235/55/17. If these are mated to the 4-to-5-lug-adapters, will they fit inside the fender/wheel wells without issue? Has anyone upgraded to this wheel tire combo?
Thanks.

I'm guessing you still have the 4 wheel drum brakes, are you sure you want to completely overtax them with 17" wheels? If not, sorry, someone else might be able to help.

Tires are too tall.
you need a 235 45 17

I won't get into the debate of using a 4 to 5 lug adaptor but I will just say if you want 5 lug wheels set the car up with 5 lugs.
