ok i got a close friend who has a 67 and he wants to go custom on it . I tried talking him out of it but he is set to do custom work. He has fully chromed the motor but now is talking about fuel injection and a roller 5.0 . I want to be of help to him on this but any facts you guys may have will help . Plus does anyone know wheir to get fiberglass hoods for 87 mustangs ?

what do you want to know about the EFI?

as far as rust stopping, you can POR15, sand it down if its just surface rust and prime and repaint, or you can cut it out and patch it up.

tell him chrome does not belong anywhere on an engine. especially most of it.

i think he means chrome engines= bad

if its a show car its good if it performance car thats some stupid **** to do. IE too much weight. if its jsust chrome accents he'll be good.

thanks for all ! But it would be nice if you guys knew wheir to find more hoods. Oh and about the efi. He wants to convert the car to fuel injection like the fox bodies. If anyone has a sticky on this i would apreciate it . Thanks again.

You can get fiberglass hoods for 67's at just about any of the suppliers of parts for classic mustangs. Mustangs Unlimited, Mustang Depot, CJ Pony parts, The Paddock, and on and on.................
