Beautiful car, the attention to detail is amazing. I'm sure rmodel is right about the console, with that car I don't think they tried to save money anywhere. The only thing I don't like are the wheels and steering wheel. I'm not the biggest fan of gray/silver, I'm starting to feel its overdone in the classics but it looks really nicely done on that car.

Dont think it's satin brushed - think it's sprayed silver and laquered about 10 times.

i seriously doubt theres any laquer used on that car the sign claims glasurit for the body, a very nice paint line from BASF probably the body color then cleared just like the outside i would think
What do you mean 'cleared'?

Looks like a standard factory long console that someone has inlayed a full length satin brushed panel.
I agree

That's an amazing car, I'd love to have it. I don't like the wheels or the shifter though.

no one hardly uses laquer anyomre and its illegal in alot of places because most of what you lay down is thinner that evaps into the atmosphere and laquer doesnt last very long and requires a lot of up keep
