Default almost ready!

got my car running real well today. I put a spacer on the carb. why? i have no idea. dont even know if it will help. the rims are only temporary. had to use spacers to let them work. I think i went too low in the front. I did the shelby drop, 620 springs with half a coil cut. even if i go to a smaller tire i think they will still rub, gonna undo the shelby drop. Rear will be dropped one more inch. it has mid eye rear leafs and the two inch blocks i ordered where too much. here are a few pics and a couple of vids. does it look like its running too rich or is that just because its a new motor?

too rich? http://videos.streetfire.net/video/e0102f4b-bbf8-4a7b-8667-99f80143e912.htm

project is moving along, congrats.

I installed a spacer a while back, guys advised it would help with the hard starts/vapor lock issues, it has.

If it were running terribly rich you'd smell it and see black smoke not white[&:]to get a base line on the A/F you need it on a dyno to measure the mixture and or a o/2 sensor with a gauge...edelbrock sells a/f sensor/indicator deals!!..as for the spacer the theroy is that it raises up the carb hence giving the a/f mixture a greater/ longer distance to speed up which in turn premotes a better combination of a/f and it speeds up air velocity to help a/f reach the cylinders quicker and more efficiently.........now do they work!!?? yeah!! but a 1/2 to a 1 inch spacer .hmmmmmmmm?? probably won't be noticable seat of the pants performance[&:]

so do you think the white smoke is just from the motor being new? also when reved it did spew out quite a bit of moisture.
