Thats what I'm planning on. Don't ask me for figures, I wont know until it's been built, but I know it's going to be putting the power down on the top half of the rev range.
a solid lift cam will make more power than a hyd. cam with identical lift and duration, but they will require more maintaining, and they will make noise.
Had solid lifters on a cam in a 351W with 0.57" or so of lift and it ran like a bat out of hell. That said, adjusting the valves became tedious, made worse by have to deal with the the stud girdles. To make adjustment a bit less messy, I cut the top off of a set of valve covers..
