Default Help me decode a '68 fastback

Hey guys!

Looking at a 1968 fastback VIN # 8R02J158844.
I'm kind of a newbie and just wondering if you guys could help me figure out what I'm looking at. TIA

You only gave part of it you need the full door tag look here http://www.mustangdecoder.com/plates.html#1968 .From that warranty number its a 68 fastback 302 4 barrel made in San Jose, CA.

J-code is good news. but this does not mean that the engine is actually in there.
if you have the door tag number as well, you'll get more info on above mentioned decoding site
