I like the Baseball bat method. It still may crack the paint though. I would do the drop first and see if you still need to roll the fenders. You may be OK.
Baseball bat? I kinda did the back with a crescent wrench and a hammer, but I didn't get it 100% flat. I want to try to do a pretty clean job on the front...
stick the handle of the bat in between the tire and the fender roll it foward slightly then do it again witha lttle weight iver the flare etc till you get it where u want it just do it slowly
You also want to heat up the paint so it doesn't crack also. I had luck in the past with the roller that hooks to the rotor and gradually rolls it out. If you have a small torch, what I did was heated it from the inside just enough. As a matter of fact, I think it was in the directions for the eastwood roller, It's snowing out and I'm not looking for the book now.
