Default heater motor squeek

I'm just hate squeeks and rattles. My car was virtually squeek and rattle free......until a few days ago. The a/c / heater fan started squeeking. How hard is it and whats involved in replacing the fan. The car has factory air. Thanks

I pulled it out in probably under an hour on my 64. but my car is empty and I wasn't trying to keep things pretty. but if it makes you feel any better. I work for Jeep and when the blend air doors break on them it's a 7hr job to remove the heater box. I think it costs the customer close to $1000.

when I replaced mine it was an all day affair,,, it's probably a squeeky bearing that you just oil,,, but on the other hand since it's an all day affair,,, if your budget can handle it, replace it

You may be able to drop some oil on it from the outside under the hood where it sticks through.
