RE: how to remove the cowl
I used some cheap fuel and burned the leaves out. but You've gotta be careful. it would probably ruin your paint and I got it a little too hot and warped the metal. but it was fun

haha i don't think my dad would like it if he walked in the garage and saw me trying to burn the leaves out...i guess im just going to have to drill out 200 spot welds...but the chrome around the windshield im still confused about...so i just stick something under it and wedge it off?

need a trim tool to release the trim https://www.autobodytoolmart.com/p-12470-15472.aspx see where it looks like a boot that fits uner the clip and releases itand u gently pull up on the trim as you go might be able to pick that up locally sometimes autozone has a trim tool similar or see of theres a local paint store

Leaf burning was banned in my community years ago. Otherwise, it looks like a good idea...gets rid of the leaves, tempers the steel and as long as your homeowners policy will replace both the garage and the stang then you're good to go!
