Default Remove Export Brace when pulling engine?

I'm getting ready to pull my engine in next couple of days. Got Tom Monroe book and read posts from others who have done it. One question I have is that I got a 1 piece export brace I put on when chnaging shocks out - do I need to pull this off - looks like it may get in the way. thanks

You should get that off of there before pulling the engine. You don't want to havethe enginehang up and have to try and removethe bracewhile having your engine hanging in the air.

I romoved and installed my new engine (408) without touching mine, I remembered what a pain it was to install so I left it in place, no problems at all.

I've swapped 2 engines and never removed it, you just gotta NOT FORCE THINGS!!! Go easy, and use your brain, turn/angle the engine and it should go in and out very easily.
