BAD vibration!
well we got the 4 speed in and we have a bad vibration when running. was told that it was the wrong flywheel. all the parts came together so we didnt hesitate to put parts in without looking.
anyways, which flywheel do i need? 65 289 with a toploader (plate reads out of a 69)

RE: BAD vibration!
sounds like maybe you got the right flywheel but put it on wrong.
did you take care to place the flywheel on in the correct angle? The balance might be 90 degrees (or something like that) off the correct location.

RE: BAD vibration!
You need a small weight, or 28oz imbalance flywheel. In the photo below, a left is a stock 28oz flywheel. On the right is the later model 50oz flywheel that has been rebalanced to 28oz. (this was done to fit a T-5 with a modern king cobra clutch)

RE: BAD vibration!
what we found was a wrong flywheel ( 50oz ) ,, so we got new one ,then we had a wrong pressure plate and a wrong disk ,, so we replaced all those,, it runs good now ,, now all we need to do is adjust the clutch he says it catches at the top , the adjuster rod is most of the way in,, is all i need to do is extend it a little and check it ???
